summer no.1

約１年ぶりに自分のアパートのプールに入ってみました。

最近やっと夏らしくなって、暑い暑い。水の中は別世界。









スウィーム、スウィーム。

犬掻き。

My boyfriend and I decided to hit the pool in my apt this past weekend and this

was one of the best 1 hour I had in a long time!

It's finally getting hot here in L.A. and it was such a good idea to spend our time in the water

rather than melting & turing into slimeball on the land.

Kuma, Sally, & Me

少し前に、私は職場にくるお客さんの方と仲良くなりました。

その人の名前は、サリー。

アメリカにずっと住んでる、日本人の方です。

昨日初めてサリーさんの自宅に遊びに行かせてもらいました。

第一の目的はサリーさんの愛犬のKUMAに会うこと。

見た目は子犬の様だけど、実は老犬。ぬいぐるみのようなふわふわの毛で

出迎えてくれました。

手もかわいい～。

サリーさんはたくさんのご馳走を用意してくれました。

まずは手巻き寿司。

新鮮なサクランボ。

ものすごくおいしかったカボチャの味噌汁。

暑い日にはぴったりなそうめん山盛り！！！！！

そして、やわやわの牛肉をさっぱりとポン酢とネギで！おいしすぎる。

素晴らしいおもてなしに本当に感謝しきれません。サリーさんのこと大好きです。

サリーさんは７０年代にフライトアテンダントとして勤めた様です。

当時の写真を見せてもらいました。

ものすごくかわいい！！！！！！唯一のアジア人だったらしいです。

すごい努力です。

I met a wonderful lady through my work and her name is Sally.I went to go visit her and her

beloved dog Kuma yesterday at her house for the first time.

Kuma is a senior dog but, it's hard to tell just by looking at him.

He still has features of a pup and is such a sweetheart.

I just cant get enough of his fluffy paws.

Sally made incredible noodles (I really can't remember how much I ate) and whole bunch of other things.

It was such a treat to be able to spend such a great time and have an amazing conversation with her.

She worked as a flight attendant in the 70's and was kind enough to share her photo with me from back then.

I think she looks absolutely gorgeous and the fact that she was the only Asian women surprised me.

It proves that with hard work you can be anything you want to be. Sounds cheesy but true.
